Log Homes in France.

There are log home companies that will construct for you a timber framed building calling it a log home but  at Eaglerock Log Homes we do not  consider a timber framed building, finished in tongue and groove boarding a log cabin or log home in the pure sense of the terminology 'log'.
Looking at the history of log construction over several hundred years will guide you to what log homes genuinely are - construction of homes (and buildings) using the whole of and the heart of the wood - a complete trunk of a tree, not just a slither of tongue and groove boarding.
At Eaglerock Log Homes we construct log homes in that genuine, traditional and pure sense of the name, using modern and up to date technology to ensure that the wood has little to no shrinkage, incorporating the latest insulation values and most importantly the latest safety fire precautions and the latest technology to cut the logs to the required style, either round log, 'D' log or square cut log.
Some other log home companies construct timber framed buildings that are hazardous and genuinely life threatening in the case of a fire. Many of these products being offered as 'homes'  certainly would not comply with any building requirements, or any legislation in terms of the product being suitable for housing purposes.

We are one of the few log home companies that are incorporating the traditional Americanised log home into the European community. We manufacture all our traditional log structure in Canada and import into Europe to your chosen destination.
